About Us

Glimpse of the Prairie is a mother daughter business located in the prairies of North Dakota. Our desire for a simple but unique life has developed into an opportunity for us to do what we love everyday. We want to give others the opportunity to use and enjoy our products.

Kara, her husband Austin, daughter Avery, and son Alex reside on the family farm near Menoken. Wanda and her husband Dennis have lived on their farm and ranch in Wing for over 30 years. Finally convincing Dennis that she needed goats, Wanda instantly fell in love with making goat milk soap using fresh unprocessed milk from her goats.

Both Kara and Wanda's enjoyment for gardening has led them to become a BisMarket vendor, which is a local farmer's market in Bismarck. They fell in love with the atmosphere the market creates, friendly customers, and supportive volunteer staff and vendors. They have also ventured into providing vegetable CSA shares, beef, and eggs.
