AHAs penetrate the top layers of the skin to slough off dead skin cells. Exfoliation stimulates the skin and healthy cells are regenerated. Loved it!! It is MY type of Milk Bath. i love taking Milk Baths for their nourishment but with all the artificial ingredients in the commercial junk that is out there, just having peace of mind alone is worth yours. It didn't leave any soap scum and my skin felt really nice afterwards,,,not slimy or greasy,,,but CLEAN!! i like how clean it is. i'm looking forward to using it over and over,,,you get an A+ :)))) Donna
